³Ô¹ÏÉç, Inc. recently completed the construction of Carriage House at Lee’s Farm in Wayland, Massachusetts. The 54,000 square foot, assisted living facility opened in early January 2014.

The two-story, wood framed complex includes a mix of studios, one and two bedroom units. An Alzheimer’s wing features 29 units dedicated to residents with Alzheimer’s disease and other memory impairments. The remaining units include private and semi-private apartments.

³Ô¹ÏÉç, Inc. provided construction management services and site work for the community.

“This facility includes a number of state-of-the-art amenities and specialized services needed for those entering a new phase in their lives,” said Wm. Amenities and services include common and private dining rooms, café, fitness center, sunroom, library, salon and barber shop, brain gym, activity rooms, open and enclosed courtyards, a lounge, housekeeping and laundry, state-of-the-art emergency call system, theatre and art studio.

The property is owned by The Northbridge Companies and the architect was The Architectural Team.

The South Shore YMCA (SSYMCA) recently held its Grand Opening ceremony for its new Quincy facility. Members of the ³Ô¹ÏÉç, Inc. team joined Quincy Mayor Thomas Koch, South Shore YMCA leaders, staff, project donors and members of the public to celebrate the opening of the state-of-the-art facility.

³Ô¹ÏÉç, Inc., provided construction management and site development services for the new facility.

The $30 million facility officially opened its doors to members in December 2013. The two-story, 118,000 square foot branch now includes a two pool aquatics center, multipurpose gymnasium with multiple courts, health and well-being center, early learning center, a full-day childcare center, classrooms and meeting rooms, outdoor playground, field house, turf field, running track, and administrative and support spaces.

The facility includes a number of sustainable and green, design initiatives. “We’ve incorporated the use of porous pavement, energy-reducing LED site-lighting and a waste recycling program into the site design,” said Patrick ³Ô¹ÏÉç, President, ³Ô¹ÏÉç, Inc.

The finalized branch includes expanded parking areas and a vehicular drop-off area adjacent to the main building entrance. It also features pedestrian sidewalks, crosswalks and handicap accessible ramps. Significant site and perimeter landscaping were also completed as part of the overall redesign.

³Ô¹ÏÉç, Inc. is still on site completing abatement and demo work on the original remaining structure.

McLean SouthEast recently completed a number of renovations to the new location for their existing psychiatric healthcare facility. The renovations were completed in order to relocate their facility from Brockton, MA to Middleborough, MA.

³Ô¹ÏÉç, Inc. began working on the preconstruction for the project in the spring of 2013 and was selected as the project contractor in September 2013. The building was granted occupancy in January 2014.

Renovations of approximately 42,900 square feet were made to an Adult Inpatient Unit, Adolescent Residential Unit, Day Unit and Administrative Office Area. The facility is zoned for 52 psychiatric beds and features anti-ligature and tamper proof components to protect patients. In addition, a number of specialty products were required including specific hardware, toilet accessories, plumbing fixtures, and mechanical and electrical systems.

“The project had an extremely aggressive timeline,” said Jessica Anthony, Project Manager at ³Ô¹ÏÉç, Inc. “The scope of work expanded throughout the phases of the project and we were happy to accommodate those changes, make recommendations, adapt our services and complete the project on time.”

The facility is owned by Wingate Healthcare and leased by McLean Hospital. McLean Hospital has regional satellite facilities from their main hospital in Belmont, MA. McLean is the largest psychiatric affiliate of Harvard Medical School.

Avalon Natick celebrated its Grand Opening in September. The community offers high-rise, multi-family apartment living in Natick, Massachusetts.

³Ô¹ÏÉç, Inc. provided construction management services for the new luxury apartment complex. The two high-rise buildings total 456,220 square-feet and include 407 units, including studio, one and two bedroom apartments and larger penthouse floor plans with high end finishes and features. Features include a video surveillance security system, a state-of-the-art fitness center, resident clubhouse, swimming pool, and a 137,036 square-foot elevated parking garage for 417 vehicles.

“The location, close to major highways and the commuter rail makes the new community an excellent choice for potential residents,” said Rich Tardiff, Project Manager at ³Ô¹ÏÉç, Inc.

The property is owned by AvalonBay Communities and the architect was Russell Scott Steedle & Capone Architects Inc.

³Ô¹ÏÉç, Inc. recently completed construction on The Residences at Wingate in Needham, Massachusetts. Residents began moving into the independent, assisted living and memory care community in late August.

“³Ô¹ÏÉç played an integral part in bringing this project in on time and on budget. Their team of construction professionals consistently provided the tools and expertise that helped to make this project a success,” said Dave Feldman, Vice President of Property Management at Wingate Healthcare.

The 112,231 square-foot community features 91 units, and a 30,000 square-foot below-grade parking garage. 82,030 square feet of living space is divided between three floors in the steel and wood framed building. The Residences at Wingate consists of one and two bedroom apartments and a specialized memory care wing. ³Ô¹ÏÉç, Inc. provided construction management services for the community.

The Residences at Wingate are located just down the street from Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Needham and Newton-Wellesley Hospital is just five minutes away.
